Our company, tree nursery Herplant BVBA , aims to sell plants for both wholesale and private customers. These sales are made via the website www.herplant.be and the website www.buxus-shop.be, among others. We also provide advice via our websites www.buxuscare.com and via www.betterbuxus.com. The personal data you provide to us are processed with the greatest care by Herplant BVBA. They are processed in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018 (better known as General data Protection Regulation or ‘GDPR’). In doing so, we adhere to the requirements from this privacy legislation.

What personal data are processed?

Herplant BVBA will only use the personal data in the context of carrying out an agreement or order concluded with you. Personal data will not be kept longer than strictly necessary.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@herplant.be and we will delete this information.

Herplant BVBA attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and the processing of your personal data. We therefore take appropriate measures to ensure this protection and to prevent misuse, loss or unwanted disclosure. For example, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are checked regularly. We do not retain data for longer than necessary. That is, we keep the data as long as necessary to provide the service you have requested. Exceptions to this are data that we must keep for longer because the law requires us to do so. Please black out your passport photo, passport number and national register in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Herplant BVBA would also like to inform you that you have the possibility of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority in Belgium.

Automated decision making

Herplant BVBA does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could affect individuals. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without a human being (e.g. an employee of Herplant BVBA) being involved.
