Biodiversity
- In our nursery we also pay extra attention to the surroundings. There are a few lanes with native oaks (Quercus robur), integrated in our nursery. The few disadvantages do not outweigh the aesthetic character of these trees.
- Around our parcels we also pay attention to local plants so our nursery is merged nicely in the scenery. In our cultivation area we have existing pine woods, which we are transforming to mixed deciduous forest since 1995.
- Many plots are also lined with native hedges such as beech hedges (Fagus and Carpinus) and Taxus hedges. These hedges are an ideal shelter and breeding ground for birds and animals.
- One of our last green projects is planting an indigenous heath bushes on a dry bank to give drought loving biota all necessary opportunities.
