Autumn colours for Buxus species
The very diverse genus Buxus houses a number of species and cultivars that stand out with their pronounced autumn and winter colour. In contrast to the common Buxus sempervirens and its cultivars, which usually remain evergreen throughout the year, these autumn shades are of course striking. And that’s where the problem lies, because most garden owners think there is something wrong with their Buxus.
